Happy Fourth of July

Well it is another Fourth of July. We are going to try and make it to fireworks somewhere if we (Scott and I) can stand it to stay awake that long. It isn't due to sleepless nights because Seth only wakes up once at night and there is no excuse other than we are just getting used to our new family.

Scott and I are getting ready for our family vacation to Florida again. But this will be the last travelling we will do for a while because Scott is leaving at the end of the month. I am looking forward to a nice relaxing trip. Wish us luck. We will need it.

Take care and have a happy Fourth!!!!

Grandma Wallace's Birthday,

The girls at Disney World at Christmas,

My van after the accident we had Friday Jan 25. They said I should get it back in 3-4 weeks.

Happy New Year!!!

I may be a little late, but Happy New Year. I have been waiting to send out anything because we didn't have any new information to give anyone. But in the last week the Army came through and we had a new ultrasound.

We are going to be moving to Ft. Lewis, WA this summer. We don't know when yet, it will depend on a lot of things. Scott and I are very excited to go somewhere you can be outside almost year round. I can't wait to see Mt. Rainer again. We are going to try and sell our house here so we can purchase one in WA. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

The other news we have is we are having one last child before I call it quits and it turns out it is a little boy. I guess now I can get rid of all that pink I have been saving. I am not sure what to do with a boy at this point but I guess it will be a new adventure. I am due in June so that will also affect the timing of our move because we are supposed to move then. I may be stuck here and have to meet Scott later. So if there are any volunteers to help me get the house packed up and drive to WA let me know!

The girls are both doing well. Isabelle is having a great time at school and looking forward to soccer this spring. Sophia is growing up so fast. Since Isabelle started school this fall, she has really started talking and now we are cutting the last of the molars. Thank heaven.

We are all tired of snow. We have had more snow already than we had the entire year last year. The temperatures have been so cold that once it gets here it doesn't melt. So snow has been on the ground since Dec. Have fun looking at the pictures hope to hear from you all soon.

Happy Harvest.

Hi all. Well, I am finally sitting at my computer to work on picture's and things and should fill you in. Sophia is doing very well. She is happy she is home with mommy by herself. She has started going to "school" (really it is hourly care on post so I can do some volunteering at Isabelle's school). She isn't sure how much she likes it, but she seems happy when I pick her up. We have also started potty training and she is pretty good except for those poopy ones. Those are scary. We are using m & m's for training so she is learning her colors as well. great mutlitasking.

Isabelle finished the fall soccer league she was in and will start swimming lessons next week again. Thank goodness that is only one night a week. Her team was good and finished with a winning record. She is already asking to play in the spring. I have a parent teacher conference next week.

Scott is still working all the time. Reading, writing, and more reading. I am sure he will be looking forward to a job that he can come home from and leave everything in the office.

I am doing fine. I have never been quite this busy. between volunteering at isabelle's school and playdates for sophia and carpooling to after school events now.... Anyway you see what I am getting at. I am still keeping my sanity by going to the gym and I am going to try and do a race in a few weeks. I have been injured a lot this summer and fall. So I will see.

We are starting to travel a little around the area. We spent a weekend in Omaha, NE and stayed at the air force base there. It was a lot of fun. We took the girls to the children's museum and the Zoo. They were both incredible. I will post some pictures for you all to see.
I hope you all have a great fall.

School is in full Swing!

Hi all. Well, school has started. Isabelle is having a great time in Kindergarten. She does come home tired, but happy. She has also started soccer this fall. The games are on Tuesday and Thursday night and we have the first one on Thursday this week. I will post pictures later.

Sophia is having some trouble with cutting those two year molars. They just seem to move down and then back up. Not through yet. One of these days she will get some good sleep. One of the girls at the Y even asked today if she was sleeping. Ho Hum. But Grandma and Pa got some new puppies. Miniature wiener dogs.

Scott is also trying to play soccer this fall. He comes home and complains that ALL the other teams are younger and faster. They are playing the other team that hasn't won anything in the league next Sunday so we are hoping for a win.

I am still being the bus and cook and maid. I have had Bunco groups in our house and I am very thankful we ripped up the kitchen this spring. I haven't had any trouble fitting everyone in the house (kitchen) for serving of food. Yeah.

Dirty Duo Pictures

June was Busier!

Well, I know it has been a while but now I have some time to get you all caught up on the goings on here.

June started out with all of us recovering from a Memorial weekend trip to Texas to visit Scott's family. Just when we caught our breathe, Scott graduated from CGSC on Isabelle's birthday (June 15th). She was so excited she turned 5 that she is still telling people she had a birthday. I only wish I was still that excited about all my birthdays. Isabelle has been taking swimming lessons also and is doing a great job.

The following week we started our triathalon of a vacation, 2 days at mom's house in Il, one night at aunt Kaye's to get ready for the baseball game, then one night at Michelle and Selcuk's, then off to our home to switch suitcases and on a plane to Orlando, FL for 3 days. We had a ball. And believe it or not, we came back not quite exhausted (I was even a little refreshed).

Scott and his friend Jasper did a team race together on father's day called the Dirty Duo. They had to alternate running and riding a mountain bike. at each switch, they had to do an trick and the last part was low crawling through a mud pit. (See Pictures)

Now we are getting ready for the last trip to IL for the summer and believe it or not, Isabelle starts school in a month, Aug 14th. I will post some more pictures. Take care.
